/* Snib — self-hosted typefaces.
Previously these came from fonts.googleapis.com, which meant Google received
every user's IP address to serve something purely cosmetic. Serving them
ourselves removes the only third-party request the app made, makes the Play
Data safety answer unambiguous, and drops a round trip from first paint.

21 files for 42 faces, ~540KB in total, and @font-face is lazy on top of
that — a viewer downloads only the face they actually selected, which for
almost everyone is Archivo alone. The 8 cyrillic files at the foot are
fetched only by a reader in a language that needs them, and only for the
   face they picked.

FEWER FILES THAN FACES, deliberately. Eight of the ten families are
variable fonts, and Google serves ONE file covering every weight. Those
were stored per weight — archivo-400, -600 and -800 were three names for
the same bytes — and because each name is its own url, a browser fetched
each one it needed. sw.js precached two of them, so every install pulled
   Archivo twice.

Now a file shared across weights drops the weight from its name
(`archivo.woff2`, `inter.woff2`), and a family whose weights are genuinely
   different files keeps it (`barlow-condensed-400.woff2`,
`ibm-plex-mono-700.woff2` — those two are static, not variable). So the
filename says which case it is, and several @font-face blocks pointing at
one url is correct rather than a mistake. Check with md5 before assuming a
family is one or the other; Barlow Condensed looks like it should share and
   does not.

NO unicode-range ON THE LATIN FACES BELOW, and its removal there is a bug
fix rather than an omission. Those declarations carried Google’s `latin`
range, copied along with the CSS, which stops at U+00FF. Those faces have
no subset variants to choose between — the latin file is the only latin
file — so the range could never SELECT anything there. It could only
exclude. And it did: every Polish diacritic (a-ogonek, c-acute, e-ogonek,
   l-stroke, n-acute, s-acute, z-acute, z-dot) sits above U+00FF, so Chrome
would not use Archivo for them and fell back to the system font in the
   middle of a word.

Confirmed on the phone with CSS.getPlatformFontsForNode, which reports what
actually rendered rather than what was asked for. Before: "Roboto x8" for
those eight characters. The files themselves have the glyphs — the same
woff2 declared without a range renders them in Archivo.

A face that genuinely lacks a glyph still falls back without the range, so
removing it costs nothing — and a range is still the right tool where there
IS something to select between, which is why it returns for the cyrillic
faces at the foot of this file. The two uses are opposites: one file per
face can only be excluded by a range, two files per face can only be chosen
   between by one.

/* ── Cyrillic ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

unicode-range is back, and this is the case it exists for. Above there is
ONE file per face, where a range could only ever exclude — which is the bug
that removed it. Here there are TWO files per face, latin and cyrillic, and
the range is what chooses between them. Without it the browser would take
whichever it matched first and never ask for the other.

SEVEN of the ten families, not ten. Google publishes no Cyrillic for
Archivo, Barlow Condensed or Quicksand, so a Russian reader who picks one
of those is given Inter instead — chosen in applyTheme, from the flag on
js/store.js FONTS, rather than left to whatever the device happens to have.

The range is Google’s `cyrillic` subset verbatim. `cyrillic-ext` is not
here: it carries Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Old Church Slavonic extras that
nothing shipped uses. U+2116 IS in this block, and it is where the № in a
   Russian invoice number comes from.

EIGHT files for seventeen faces, for the same reason the latin faces above
are 13 for 25 — see the note at the top of this file. IBM Plex Mono is the
one family here whose weights are separate files. */
